Discover the beauty of Zagori.
Vitsa, a magical destination

Vikos Gorge

A unique geological phenomenon, a cleft in the ground that only a divine hand could have created. The narrowest point of its two sides is only 1,100 m wide, while their depth exceeds 900 m. The ravine of Vikos is the kingdom of eagles and silence, of rare medicinal herbs and vertical rocks. It starts from the bridge of Kokoros and ends at the bridge of Aristi. Her passing is a lifetime experience!

Drakolimni

A bordering mountain spot of shocking beauty. A lake with a mythical dragon, but also many real “dragons”: small amphibians called newts. A remnant, a trace, the only one we have, of the ice age. To get here, you will need 1 hour by car.

The bridges of Zagori

Kalogeriko: the most beautiful stone bridge in Greece and one of the most beautiful in the Balkans. It is characterized by air movement and plasticity. Like a “caterpillar in motion”, this is how they describe its rhythmic movement and its light elegance in the up and down of its three bows. It is located just outside the village of Kipoi and joins the banks of the Bayiot stream. There are others to admire: of Kokoros or Kyr Noutsos between the villages of Koukouli and Kipoi, the double arch of Misios, in the ravine of Vikos, of Mylos near the village of Kipoi.
